My oh my. I hate do say I really have out done myself this time, but I think I did. Really it was the couple that made all the difference. I loved this session so much. So much that I didn't want it to end. Had it not been negative twelve degrees outside we probably would have stayed longer. Taylor messages me last minute when her photographer was unable to make it. It's always so nerve wracking meeting a new couple for the first time. I'm always scared I won't be able to give them what they are looking for because my style in a bit different from everyone else's. But as soon as I met them, I knew we would get along so great. I can't thank them enough for reaching out to me last minute. Here are some sneak peaks of this sweet couples.
Lexi & Tyler Engagements
I just shot my first engagement shoot of 2017. How crazy is that? Not even a month ago, I was totally considering giving up this little side gig that I didn't think would go anywhere, and all of the sudden, BAM. My inbox started filling up and I start booking sessions like crazy. It's tough working a full time job, trying to set up sessions, edit pictures, spend time with my fiance and still look like a human being, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. This couple contacted me about 4 hours before I met them to do pictures. Their photographer had cancelled on them last minute, and Lexi, happened to stumble across my work, and she messaged me wondering if I could fit them in that day. How on earth could I turn down an engagement shoot? The wind was super brutal and by the time it was over we were all frozen, but my heart was so full and warm. And my abs hurt from laughing so hard. Thank you guys so much for reaching out to me to take your engagement photos. I can't wait for your wedding in August!! Much love! XOXO
Macias In Home Session
So it's official, In Home sessions are my new favorite. I love how organic and raw all of the images are. I love that we didn't have to set up a pintrest board or try and color coordinate outfits, or play with props. I told them to simply wear what they were wearing that day, and I would show up and take care of the rest. This family is very near and dear to my fiance and I's hearts. Not only were they my first paid photography gig ever, but they have turned into some of our best friends here in Wichita, and we look forward to Wednesday night dinners when we get together and make yummy food and just hangout around the house. Thank you so much for always letting me get creative and bring my camera along for the ride. Much Love! XOXO
Kaley & Brady
What a way to start the new year. I can already tell what kind of year 2017 is going to be, and its only 8 days in! Kaley and Brady have this simple, honest kind of love that everyone dreams of. They are super sweet, and I told them if I could shoot couples like them all day, it would be a dream come true. Kaley and I met back in hair school two years ago, and I was so glad she reached out to me to have me take some pictures of her and Brady. I love love love how these turned out, and I can't wait for her little tummy to grow bigger so we can take some adorable pictures of that BUMP! I am honored to have captured your love, and I can't wait to keep capturing these special moments for you. Much Love! XOXO
